You know, the birth of this blog & the birth of my knitting addiction coincides with my very first design that I published on Ravelry, my beloved Severus socks. So I went & looked it up… April 22 will have been 5 years since I published that pattern! Wow! So I’ve also been knitting & blogging for 5 years too. What better way to celebrate than to offer up a free pattern? From now until 11:59pm on April 30, you can use this coupon code on my Ravelry store to get any one of my patterns for free. ♥
Well, I haven’t been out for a run in a couple of days, but the youngest manlet & I have been out walking with his girlfriend on a regular basis. I’ve really come to love this time with my family, it’s fantastic. Even better than sitting around the dining room table, talking during dinner – no need to yell at anyone for talking with food in their mouths! ;)
Yes, still working on my Devon (sort of) sweater. I haven’t been knitting too much on it the past day or two. Work has kind of kept me busy, plus I’ve been reading. I’ve also gotten hooked on a word game or two over on Lumosity. LOL

Have a fantastic week & thanks for stopping by! ♥
Thanks for offering the free pattern! I got the Victor socks. They will be my first toe up project!
You are welcome! :) I do hope you like toe up – I know it’s tough sometimes to change, but I love it because I can knit until I run out of yarn (or I get the length I want).
Thank you for offering a free pattern I chose the womping willow socks. Congratulations on 5 years of designing I wouldn’t know where to start myself so I rely on people like you
:) I’ve not been designing lately, so much other stuff going on. I have patterns brewing in my brain, just haven’t had the time to work them out. Thank you!
Congratulations on the 5th anniversary of your Severus socks! As a confirmed Harry Potter fan, I’m delighted to celebrate with you, and chose the Severus mitts, appropriately enough…I thought long and hard about this (for me, I seem to think long and hard about nearly everything these days, heh heh), deciding on the mitts rather than the sock itself. Tough decision, and I’m not good with decisions to begin with!
I wish you many more happy years of running and knitting, and thank you for sharing so generously in your celebration with so many HP and Ravelry fans, and continued success with your blog and your designs.
:) Excellent choice! LOL Thank you so much – I hope you enjoy the mitts!
Congratulation on the milestone!!! (aren’t you glad to be dragged away from being only a hooker???
