Healthy Vibes ~ new sock pattern!

Running

I meant to run today.  I really did.  But I got caught up in trying to get the new pattern done, so there ya have it.  I’ll run tomorrow, as long as I get to bed at a decent hour tonight.  LOL

Knitting

Woo Hoo!  I finished up the new sock pattern!  I have the second sock nearly done, but I wanted to get the new pattern up right away, so I took a little break to do that.  I’ve got it all written up, photos taken & the document created!  I am very pleased to present Healthy Vibes to you all!

Healthy Vibes – the boyfriend of a member of one of my favorite groups on Ravelry was recently diagnosed with cancer. This sock pattern is what I knit up for him for his long stay in the hospital. The stitch pattern is one of my long time favorites – it is simple, yet fun to knit. I knit these up & am sending them off with many “healthy vibes” along the way.

  1. great sock pattern, well done!
I don’t think I’ll make socks for my Dad though, he has such vile feet that no sock can last for long!

      Thanks!! :)

LOL, too funny… sometimes I wish my Dad wore socks because he is wonderful about appreciating handmade gifts – he’d be awesome about hand knit socks!

Hmm, we don’t celebrate father’s day here…I don’t know what would I do if we would…I never heard from my dad if he likes the socks I knitted them for his Birthday…
On the other hand there will be PJ’s birthday…

I am quite sure that your father loves that you made him socks. :) As to PJ – I would not bother, hon. Sit down with C and help him to draw & paint a picture for a birthday present from him instead. ;)

The question would be when and especially WHERE to sit down as I don’t have any free surface at the moment nor a free moment…LOL.

LOL! Good point, that. Ok, then make his birthday gift that truck full of his stuff. I’m sure he’ll love having all of his own “stuff” back again. *smirk*

You should have seen the look on his face when he looked into the truck………heheheheheeeeeeee… seeing that worth all the pain (I am nasty I know… it was difficult NOT to jump up and down with a huge gleeful grin on my face, and sing “It is your problem not mine”)
